Understanding your plan
Where your calorie, protein and water targets come from, and why they change.
Apexevo works out your targets with its own engine, MuN, from what you told it. Every number opens to show the working.
Calories
Your resting energy comes from the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, or from Katch-McArdle if you enter a measured body fat. Your daily burn adds how active your job and your week are. Your goal then sets how far above or below that to aim, and the safety rules cap it. Weight loss is never faster than about 1 percent of your weight a week, and half that with gout.
Protein
Protein is set from your weight and your goal. For a larger body it is worked out from a healthier reference weight, so the target stays one you can actually eat.
Water
Water is set from your weight and activity. With a kidney or heart condition there is no water target, because that belongs to your doctor. Water you log still counts.
Why they change
Your plan follows you. A new weigh-in, new body measurements or a changed answer can all move it. The weekly review lists every change, what moved and what set it off.
A target date
You can give your goal a date in Settings > Profile and goal. If reaching it would need more than the safe rate, Apexevo says so and suggests a date that works.
When progress stalls
After a few steady weeks with no change, Apexevo notices and offers a choice, such as a week at maintenance. It never changes your plan without asking.
